How To Get Celebrity Buzz About Your Product

1. A PROVEN FORMULA THAT WORKS!
My one best tip for “How To Create Celebrity Buzz” is find out how your product fits in with the interest of those specific celebrities. Next, learn what is the topical flow of their sphere of impact and influence that connects with your product. Submit a very humble and thankful pitch that has some perks and incentives that benefits them as well. When given the opportunity, in truth, look for chances to make them look good. Trust me, this works. Thanks to Kevin Benton of Kevin Benton Ministries |

2. Start Spreading The News
Write and send a letter to companies that may now want to work with you or invest in your product because of your affiliation with celebrities. For example, if you have a baby product, send a letter of introduction to select companies in your area and include a copy of the photo of the celebrity with your product. Let them know that you are developing corporate accounts with local businesses who are interested in sending your product as a baby gift when an employee has a baby. I did this exact thing in my first business and nearly doubled my revenue overnight. Thanks to Meredith Liepelt of Rich Life Marketing |
| 3. Don’t Use The Front Door
Our focus was going through the “back door” rather than the “front door” – we wouldn’t hear anything or simply get a request for money by sending an email through the persons website, but by building a strong relationship with a local radio personality that knows these people, we got a personal introduction that opened alot of doors for us. 4. How To Get Celebrity Buzz
Customize your product for them. When I pitched the idea of endorsing my book to Gene Simmons of KISS and Alice Cooper, both were receptive in part because they were included. In reality, I could have used any number of rock stars, but I went with Gene and Alice – the ones who endorsed the book. Because I made it work for them, they made it work for me. 5. Dig, Dig, Dig!
We promote earth-friendly lifestyle practices and sells organic t-shirts. Sheryl Crow and John Mellencamp are both into the environment, and both were performing at a conference I was to attend. In advance, I made many calls to track down who was handling the celebrities on-site. I finally landed upon the right person and emailed her our web site link. She liked the product and gave me her HOME address to mail them to. Thanks to Sheryl Kurland of 100% Living |

6. Help Them Help You: Celeb Publicists, That Is
Research celebs and write notes to celebs’ publicists explaining why you think their individual clients will like your product. If you have styles to choose from, as with fashion items, allow them to choose their own. Write a press release about your celeb placement and distribute it through wire services, send it to media that cover your product category, entrepreneurs and/or celebrities. Share the news on social media and your web site. Thanks to Lisa Elia of Lisa Elia Public Relations |
