You’ve provided a perfect example of setting up a system that will work for you.

For anyone reading this, it’s important to think about what will keep you productive and what’s necessary for your particular business. For example, with my PR firm, a phone call can quickly create a connection between me (or one of my team) and a prospective client that could result in us getting a new account or even a referral to other clients. BUT, we manage the time spent on those calls. (I’ll share that in another post).

Lisa,

I disabled Voicemail months ago. If a prospect has a question, I can answer it by email when I’m not busy working on a project for an existing client. If a client has a question they can email me or text me if they need an answer ASAP, which hardly ever happens cause I get on that email regularly. Usually the only time clients need to speak to me is at our set phone meetings, so again, no need for voicemail.

I feel sooooooo free not having to constantly check voicemail all day then feel obligated to call back when I know I two line email would do the trick!
